Music photographer Bob Minkin, discusses his career and will present a slide show based on his recent books, The Music Never Stopped, a stunning hardcover coffee table book spanning over 25 years of music photography and stories from the 80's to the present in Marin County and his his latest book, Just Jerry, his photographs of Jerry Garcia.

Bob Minkin has enjoyed unique access to incredible musicians and insights into our local music scene. He began photographing concerts as a teenager growing up in Brooklyn, NY and has photographed thousands of concerts in clubs and arenas across the USA and Europe, and musicians such as Jerry Garcia, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton and hundreds of others. His photos have been featured in many books and publications including Rolling Stone, Time Magazine and in many music CDs and DVD packages. Bob frequently photographs concerts at Terrapin Crossroads and Sweetwater Music Hall. He lives with his family in Novato.

In 2014, Bob’s first coffee table book, Live Dead, The Grateful Dead Photographed by Bob Minkin was published. His second music photography book, The Music Never Stopped was published September 2017. His third book, Just Jerry was published October 2019.

JAYNE HULBERT has been an active member of Rotary International for more than 20 years. Jayne is a member of the Rotary Club of Ignacio and is the Past President of the Rotary Club of Marin Evening. She has held a variety of Club and District 5150 positions. Jayne was Governor of Rotary International District 5150 in 2018 – 2019. Jayne is the District Rotary Foundation Chair for 2019 – 2022. She has been District 5150’s Chief of Staff, Annual Fund, Endowment and Major Gift Chairs, Assistant Governor and has served on many District Committees. Jayne has served as a member of the 2019 - 2021 Education Week faculty and administration teams for Zones 26-27 for Governors Elect and Governors Nominee training. Jayne was the Zone 27 2021 Taiwan International Convention Promotion Chair.

Danielle Lallement began her career as a trauma intensive care unit nurse in Reno, Nevada.  She relocated to the San Francisco area and is currently employed as a Unit Director at University of California Medical Center, San Francisco, managing both a surgical oncology and a respiratory isolation intensive care unit.
 
In 2007, she joined the Rotary Club of Sparks in Sparks, Nevada.  She relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area, and in 2013 she became a founding member and Charter President of the San Francisco Evening Rotary Club. Her club gave her a focus that included the engagement of young professionals into the organization, and she saw the need for the organization to innovate and become more relevant in today’s world.  In 2014, she was selected to participate in the Rotary Young Professionals Summit in Chicago, and in 2015, she organized and held the West Coast Young Professionals Summit in Berkeley, CA.  That same year, she was also selected by RI president, K.R. Ravi Ravindran to serve as the young professional advisor on the Rotary International Membership Committee.

As the first executive director of Friends of China Camp, Martin has successfully raised the profile and grown community involvement and commitment to the park. Prior to joining the organization, Martin had been consulting with nonprofits, sharing his expertise in resource development and governance.

Martin also volunteers on the board of trustees for Brandeis Marin, a K-8 private school. From 2010 to 2013, Martin was board chair of the Jerusalem American International School, where he oversaw a doubling of enrollment (from 65 to 149 students), as well as significantly increasing the size of the facility.

Martin received his MBA from Georgetown University and his BS in Civil Engineering from Tufts University. He and his wife, Inbar, have three children: Tamara, Ben, and Maya. In his spare time, Martin enjoys running at China Camp, reading spy novels and spiritual books, going to farmers’ markets with Inbar, and making his children laugh.

In early 2021, Dave continued his professional law enforcement career being appointed to the
position of Police Chief for the City of San Rafael, where he currently serves to lead the
organization.


Dave has an Associate Degree in Administration of Justice from De Anza College in Cupertino, a Bachelor Degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco as well as a Master’s Degree from Saint Mary’s College in Public Sector Leadership. Dave is a graduate of the Senior Management Institute for Police through the Police Executive Research Forum and he
is a graduate of the California POST Command College.


Dave is very involved in his community and in his profession – he serves as an advisory board member on the Administration of Justice Board at Las Positas College, where he also serves as an adjunct faculty member. Dave serves as a member of the International Criminal Justice Board at the University of San Francisco – and he is an independent, contract trainer and group facilitator
serving non-profit organizations and municipal government.
